An application must be submitted and approved to adopt any of our animals through any of our programs.
We require a vet reference check and a criminal background check on all applicants.
Vet Reference requirements: MUST be/have been fixed and up to date on rabies and Distemper/FVRCP.
PA Docket Clearances: Must not of been found guilty of animal neglect or cruelty
If you rent your home an approval from us speaking to your landlord is required
Our Current Adoption Fees:
CATS AND KITTENS
All cats currently have age-appropriate vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, deworming, and FeLV/FIV tested negative (at least once)
· OVER 6 months old – $100.00
· UNDER 6 months (will need to be fixed at 6 months) – $100.00 at adoption; additional $50.00 on the day of spay or neuter. (Proof of rabies vaccine must be provided during surgery; if you cannot provide proof, you will have breached our signed contract, and the animal will legally be ours again.)
**Ask about a discount if more than one is adopted simultaneously. Cats often do better in pairs, especially bonded pairs and kittens.
DOGS and PUPPIES
All dogs include spaying or neutering if over 6 months, microchipping, current rabies and distemper vaccinations if age appropriate , current flea and tick prevention, heartworm, Lyme, anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichia testing.
· OVER 2 years old – $200.00
· UNDER 2 years old – $250.00 at contract signing, additional $100 at time of spay/neuter
